A&C Petersen (Alfred & Christian Petersen) is a historic Danish pipe tobacco manufacturer founded in 1865 in Horsens, Denmark. Renowned for its skilled blending techniques and consistent quality, the company produced a number of respected pipe tobaccos, most notably the legendary Escudo Navy De Luxe. Although Escudo was not originally created by A&C Petersen, the brand became closely associated with its production and played a significant role in establishing its worldwide reputation among pipe smokers.
