Erinmore Flake is the flagship flake tobacco of the Erinmore brand and one of the most iconic pipe tobaccos with a history spanning well over a century. Crafted from premium Virginia and Burley tobaccos, the blend is traditionally cold pressed, carefully matured, and sliced into elegant flakes before receiving Erinmore’s famous secret fruit topping. Presented in a traditional Flake Cut, it may be folded and stuffed or rubbed out according to personal preference, delivering a cool, slow-burning smoke. The Virginias contribute notes of fresh hay, honey, toasted bread, and natural sweetness, while the Burley adds nutty, woody, and light cocoa richness. Erinmore’s signature topping introduces refreshing impressions of pineapple, citrus, and tropical fruit, complemented by delicate floral nuances that enhance rather than overpower the tobacco. Compared with Erinmore Mixture, the Flake offers a richer tobacco character, slower burn, and greater depth thanks to its pressed construction. It is an excellent all-day smoke with very good aging potential. Allowing the flakes to dry for 15–30 minutes before packing is recommended for optimal ignition, combustion, and flavor development.
