The blend is predominantly Burley, complemented by a touch of Red Virginia and Perique, presented in a rustic Coarse Cut with no detectable added flavoring. Burley leads with nutty, earthy, woody, toasted and subtle cocoa-like tobacco notes, while Red Virginia contributes restrained dark-fruit sweetness and Perique adds peppery spice, plum and fermented-fruit complexity.
