Samuel Gawith Full Virginia Plug is the uncut Plug version of the legendary Full Virginia Flake and one of Samuel Gawith’s quintessential pure Virginia tobaccos. Made entirely from selected Virginia leaf, it is traditionally hot pressed into a dense plug with no detectable added flavoring, allowing the natural sugars of the tobacco and the pressing process to develop its characteristic richness. Compared with Full Virginia Flake, the plug tends to smoke slower and offers a rounder, deeper and often sweeter character, with notes of mature dark fruit, fig, raisin, toasted bread, malt, grass, wood and subtle tangy citrus. Smooth, naturally sweet and exceptionally tobacco-forward, Full Virginia Plug is a traditional Straight Virginia with excellent aging potential and is particularly rewarding for smokers who enjoy preparing their own flakes or cube cuts.
