DTM Holly’s Discovery is a rich yet remarkably smooth Virginia/Latakia blend composed solely of naturally sweet Virginia and smoky Latakia, with no added flavoring. The tobaccos are pressed and matured together, allowing the natural sweetness of Virginia to soften and balance the deeper smoky character of Latakia. The result offers pronounced peat, campfire, wood, leather and smoky notes alongside gentle hay, bread and natural Virginia sweetness. Holly’s Discovery was originally produced as a traditional flake, but because the pressed slices did not retain sufficient firmness without the use of binding agents, DTM now offers it exclusively as a Ready Rubbed Flake, with no change to the tobacco composition.
