McConnell Red Virginia 50g/Tin

McConnell Red Virginia is one of McConnell’s original blends, dating back to 1848. It combines rich red Virginia with brighter Virginia leaf and a small amount of Perique, creating a gentle VaPer-style profile. The red Virginias provide dark-fruit, berry, woody, and naturally sweet notes, while the brighter Virginias contribute citrus, bread, and light grassy nuances. A restrained touch of Perique adds subtle raisin, fig, and peppery spice, while the current version may carry a very light cocoa/chocolate note. Presented in a Ready Rubbed cut, it is smooth, balanced, and suitable for everyday smoking.
