Full Virginia Flake (FVF) is Samuel Gawith’s flagship straight Virginia tobacco and is widely regarded as one of the finest Virginia flakes ever produced. Made exclusively from carefully selected Virginia leaf with no added flavorings, it is traditionally hot-pressed to create dense, dark flakes rich in natural sugars and remarkable depth of flavor. The 250g box contains the same celebrated blend as the 50g version, making it an excellent choice for regular enjoyment or long-term cellaring.

The traditional pressing and aging process allows the Virginias to develop exceptional richness and complexity. Upon lighting, the blend opens with notes of fresh hay, malt, toasted bread, and delicate citrus. As the bowl progresses, flavors of honey, brown sugar, caramel, figs, raisins, and dark dried fruits gradually emerge, supported by subtle hints of wood, earth, and black tea.
