Rattray’s Hal O’ The Wynd 50g/Tin

Rattray’s Hal O’ The Wynd is a classic Virginia-based pipe tobacco made from mature Red Virginias, Fire-Cured Kentucky, and a small amount of Perique. The tobaccos are pressed and then rubbed by hand into a Broken Flake. With no detectable added flavoring, the blend focuses on its natural tobacco character.

The Red Virginias provide rich sweetness, bread, dark fruit and subtle wine-like notes, while Fire-Cured Kentucky adds earthy, leathery, woody and lightly smoky depth. Perique contributes dried-fruit and peppery spice. The result is a robust, full-flavored tobacco with considerable strength, best suited to experienced smokers who appreciate traditional, naturally flavored Virginia blends.
