Cornell & Diehl Awakened Elder is a complex traditional English mixture from C&D’s The Old Ones series, combining Latakia, Kasturi cigar leaf, Virginia, Burley, Perique, Black Cavendish, and Orientals in a Ribbon Cut with no detectable added flavoring. Latakia leads with deep smoky, woody and leathery notes, while Indonesian Kasturi cigar leaf contributes earthy, floral, spicy and incense-like complexity. Orientals reinforce the exotic spice, Burley adds nutty and woody depth, Virginia provides subtle natural sweetness, and Perique contributes dark-fruit and peppery notes, balanced by the mellow sweetness of Black Cavendish.
