Chacom No. 4 is a classic Virginia/Perique (VaPer) pipe tobacco made from a selection of light and dark Virginia tobaccos combined with a small proportion of premium Perique. The blend is cold-pressed for approximately four weeks before being sliced, allowing the different tobaccos to meld and develop greater depth. Upon lighting, the Virginias provide natural sweetness with notes of hay, grain, and ripe fruit, while the Perique contributes gentle peppery spice, dried-fruit character, and fermented richness. As a non-aromatic blend, No. 4 relies entirely on the natural qualities of the tobacco rather than added flavoring.
