Cornell & Diehl Pirate Kake 56.7g/Tin

Cornell & Diehl Pirate Kake is one of C&D’s most iconic Latakia-heavy English mixtures and a true “Latakia bomb,” containing an extraordinary 75% Latakia, accompanied by Turkish/Oriental and Burley, then pressed into a traditional Crumble Cake / Krumble Kake. Latakia dominates with powerful smoky, woody, leathery, earthy and incense-like character, while the Turkish leaf contributes dry herbal spice and subtle tanginess, and Burley adds restrained nutty, toasted and earthy depth. Despite its massive Latakia content, the smoke can be remarkably smooth and cool. With no detectable added flavoring and an unapologetically full tobacco character, Pirate Kake is designed primarily for dedicated Latakia enthusiasts seeking an intensely smoky traditional English experience.
