Gawith Hoggarth Kendal Mixed No.23 VNL (Vanilla) is a traditional British Aromatic built around Bright Virginia and Burley with a touch of Dark-Fired leaf, enhanced with a smooth and creamy Vanilla flavoring. Gawith Hoggarth describes the underlying Kendal Mixed blend as a medium-strength combination of bright Virginias, Burley and a small proportion of dark-fired tobacco, designed to provide greater depth and an evolving natural tobacco character.

Bright Virginia contributes natural sweetness, hay and grain, while Burley adds nutty, woody and toasted depth. The touch of Dark-Fired leaf gives the mixture additional body and a subtle darker tobacco character. Creamy vanilla rounds out the blend with soft sweetness without completely masking the natural tobaccos.

Compared with Kendal Gold No.23 VNL, the Mixed version offers greater tobacco body and a little more bite, while remaining considerably more approachable than the stronger Kendal Dark range.
